NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Board of Directors of Canyon Lake Village Civic Association, Inc. has proposed amendments to the Association’s Bylaws (<— Link) pursuant to governing documents and Texas Law. The purpose is to comply with Texas law changes and modernize governance practices.

A vote will be held at the Board Meeting on:
January 12, 2026 @ 6:00pm
Members are encouraged to attend

Deed Restrictions: Please remember that any addition to the footprint of an existing home, or the construction of a new home, requires submission of architectural plans to the CLVCA Architectural Committee for review and approval.

Failure to obtain approval may result in difficulty maintaining a clear title to your property. Some loan and title companies now require written confirmation from the Association that a property is in compliance with applicable deed restrictions.

To submit plans, you may mail them to CLVCA, P.O. Box 1484, Canyon Lake, Texas, or email them to James Reddoch, Chairman, Architectural Committee, at kc358@gvtc.com.

In addition, if you own two or more separate, uncombined lots and plan to extend an existing structure across lot lines, you must apply for an “Amendment to Plat” through the Comal County Engineer’s Department.

BOARD of DIRECTORS’ MEETINGS 2026
Meetings will be held the second Monday of each month at 6:00 pm
(Exception: We will continue to skip the December meeting).

Annual Membership Meeting Monday November 9, 2026, at 6:00 PM.
Officers and directors will be elected at that time.
